dc.description.abstract	Dentro del presente trabajo se encontrará el análisis del actual predio del Hipódromo de los Andes ubicado en el kilómetro 20 vía que conecta la ciudad de Bogotá con el municipio de Chía, este análisis no solo se centrará en el predio en sí; sino que también el papel que desempeña en el contexto en donde se encuentra. A lo largo de este estudio se generó un diagnóstico integral que abarca el marco vial, ambiental y de usos que permitirán determinar los motivos que justifican la ejecución del centro de eventos a escala Metropolitana que se está proponiendo para este espacio que actualmente está siendo desperdiciado y se ha venido deteriorando con un uso esporádico informal por parte de la población. El objetivo a lo largo de la investigación es que mediante la propuesta del Centro de Eventos Metropolitano los Andes se logre atender y satisfacer la necesidad actual que la población demanda para este espacio, la intención no es solo que cumpla con las expectativas de funcionalidad, sino que también se convierta en un lugar de encuentro, actividades culturales y recreativas que beneficien a toda la comunidad fomentando un sentido de pertenencia y cohesión social.	spa
dc.description.abstract	Within this work you will find the analysis of the current site of the Hipódromo de los Andes located at kilometer 20 of the road that connects the city of Bogotá with the municipality of Chía, this analysis will not only focus on the site itself, but also the role it plays in the context in which it is located. Throughout this study, a comprehensive diagnosis was generated that covers the road, environmental and uses framework that will allow determining the reasons that justify the execution of the Metropolitan scale events center that is being proposed for this space that is currently being wasted and has been deteriorating with an informal sporadic use by the population. The objective throughout the research is that through the proposal of the Los Andes Metropolitan Events Center it is possible to meet and satisfy the current need that the population demands for this space, the intention is not only that it meets the expectations of functionality but also that it will become a meeting place, cultural and recreational activities that benefit the entire community by fostering a sense of belonging and social cohesion.	eng
