Armonía Habitacional: El Confort de la Transición Campus Universitario
(Universidad La Gran Colombia, 2024) Bernal Fontanilla, Mateo Alejandro; Galindo Beltrán, Luis Fernando; Díaz Jiménez, Yuly Caterin; Nope Bernal, Yuber Alberto
Helsinki is the capital of Finland, a country located to the north of the European continent, close to the North Pole, where the environmental temperatures are extremely low, there is only a three-month period of sunny weather per year, which generates difficulties when designing, planning and guaranteeing conditions of habitability and comfort inside and outside the city's buildings. On the other hand, the University of Helsinki, located in the Vikki district, has a variety of buildings with established uses for residence and academic life, as well as spaces for environmental protection, care, and conservation. Academic faculties are located within the campus as well as animal research centers and bird watching, so it is necessary to ensure the conservation of those areas to the established uses, so as not to incur future impacts on the ecosystem of the campus. However, it requires improvements in its public and private spaces and buildings, in order to increase its academic population in the future, enhancing the use of the activities that can take place between the interface of public and private areas, without neglecting to guarantee conditions of comfort and habitability.

(Universidad La Gran Colombia, 2024) Friede Bonilla, Vanessa; Roa, Edgar
The present proposal based on the guidelines given from the Saint Campus Gardenia International Architecture Competition, offered by the Viikki Campus, in the city of Helsinki, aims to provide a possible and effective solution to the need to expand housing coverage in This environment, therefore, both in it and in its surroundings, there is a serious deficit in the number of accommodations available, both for students and for university workers. Three of the main axes on which the quality of life of the Finns is based and that have led this country to be considered the happiest in the world during the last five years were taken into account for its preparation (Miguel, 2024): 1) one of the best and most solid education systems; 2) its commitment to sustainable architecture; and 3) its advances in environmental preservation. As a result, a solid architectural proposal was obtained that not only brought with it the possibility of expanding housing coverage, giving its new inhabitants spaces for recreation, coexistence and community construction, but also promoted the ecological and academic values that have characterized this country, through factors such as the long-term sustainability of the building (energy efficiency and waste treatment) and its symbiotic and synergistic integration with the city's natural environment.

Planta de tratamiento, clasificación y aprovechamiento de residuos solidos en el municipio de Chiquinquira
(Universidad La Gran Colombia, 2024) Gerenas González, Andrea Catalina; Roa Castillo, Edgar Eduardo
The landfill crisis in Colombia has been increasing, especially the Carapacho landfill located in the rural area of the city of Chiquinquirá, generating a major environmental and health problem for the city and its ecosystem. Buenavista, Caldas, and Saboya, nearby municipalities, also dispose of their waste in this landfill, which does not comply with operating standards and because there are no other alternatives for solid waste management and no other disposal site, this landfill continues to operate without environmental or administrative control. The city of Chiquinquirá does not have the necessary equipment for the treatment, classification and later use of the solid waste that the population discards daily. This research seeks to unite architecture, sustainable development and circular economy through the design of a plant for the treatment, classification and use of solid waste that will significantly reduce the tons that are disposed of daily in the carapacho landfill, with a social approach that will dignify the important work of the vulnerable population of recyclers.

Estrategias de revitalización urbana para el barrio Santa Fe en Bogotá
(Universidad La Gran Colombia, 2024) Ruíz-Barbosa, María Jose; Gutiérrez-Aristizábal, Alonso
In this research work, strategies are formulated to revitalize the Santa Fe neighborhood, through the transformation of the urban space, in order to make it more inclusive and reduce the social tensions that are generated between the different communities. In the neighbourhood there are two general profiles of the population: the floating and the resident, within which the vulnerable population is located; disadvantaged groups of people who have been excluded and discriminated against, including for social, cultural, religious, political and economic reasons, which threaten their physical, mental and social well-being; in which the communities of sex workers, LGTBI population, migrants, displaced persons and street dwellers are found. Within these groups, there are conflicts over the appropriation of public space, abuses of power by the police force, pollution and insecurity; that contribute to the social stigmatization of the Santa Fe neighborhood.

The sensorial dimension in architecture applied to the education of children in the basic stages is essential to enhance motor development. The objective of the research is to find the relationship between constructivist pedagogy and sensory architecture in kindergartens that have marked a milestone in the design of school spaces in the city of Bogotá D.C, based on a methodology of characterization of the sensory dimension applied to architectural design and the attributes that will be evaluated in these spaces. In accordance with the aforementioned, a qualitative and analytical analysis will be carried out to determine if there is a relationship between the built and the narrative proposed by the architects for such spaces, applying the principles of constructivist pedagogy. The investigation revealed that the environments studied apply the sensorial in architecture in different magnitudes and that the constructivist pedagogical model is evident in some aspects, but not in others. As for the discourse, except for one case, it is observed that it adheres to classic notions of urban and morphological order of architectural thought, so the research is crucial to understand the role of these spaces in all stages of pedagogical development.

Renovación urbana para el reasentamiento y la consolidación del borde urbano en el barrio Granada Sur - Usme, Bogotá D.C
(Universidad La Gran Colombia, 2024) Puentes Acevedo, Harold Stiven; Rodriguez Muñoz, Santiago Alberto; Gutiérrez-Aristizábal, Alonso
In the Granada – Sur neighborhood, in the town of Usme in Bogotá, problems are seen such as roads in a state of deterioration, poor condition of free spaces such as the present pocket parks and deterioration in the rural urban limit due to waste; However, the main problem lies in the medium-high mass removal identified in the immediate area of Boyacá Avenue, with a risk of landslide. Taking into account the above, this degree work proposed a methodology that considered urban and architectural aspects, where first a characterization of the physical and social conditions of the sector was carried out; In the second step, urban, functional and structural strategies were implemented in the vulnerable area. Finally, within the urban renewal treatment proposed in the POT (Territorial Planning Plan), the work carried out the resettlement of vulnerable homes, thus mitigating the risks due to mass removal, developing the construction of social housing. At the same time at the same time, a basic scheme of public space on the edge was designed in order to regulate urbanization in the expansion areas, through which strategies were implemented to achieve dynamism and social cohesion.
