Loops Parque Lineal, una estrategia para enlazar el borde sur del Municipio de Facatativá

Abstract

The proposed project is mainly the design of a linear park that allows to revitalize elements and spaces, in addition to facilitating permeability in the intervention sector through the implementation of different areas of public space, which reorganize and lead the place, with transversal connections, road improvements, intervention in the railway structure and heritage. It consists of identifying the causes that generate the fragmentation or spatial rupture between the southern edge, the historic center of Facatativá and the axis of the railway line that corresponds to the first race, since a series of problems of urban connections is evident in this sector, environmental and uses, which have deteriorated the architectural heritage and its immediate context. Once the problems that arise in the sector are identified, noticing what types of dynamics are developed through the railroad, for each possible place of intervention a series of urban actions will be proposed that seek to recover the quality of the environment and significance of the heritage and the historic center, including the structure of the railway line and the Regiotram project, which is articulated with the axis of the first race, conforming them as the same unit within the urban landscape.
