The Muina Murui malokas, Uitoto ethnicity, make part of this kind of architecture, and the way that they build those communal houses has been preserved, to a large degree, since prehispanic times. Nevertheless, this ancestral knowledge has been relegated by an industrialized constructive model, that supersedes with modern techniques the ancestral architecture. Therefore, the project presented through this paper was carried on with the collaboration of “Patio de ciencia dulce” community locate in Tapacara village, belonging to the Amazonas State, is an academic proposal in order to describe how the maloka constructive process is, and to describe how is the relationship between the indigenous community with it and how this characteristic cultural component of the vernacular constructions is presented, keeping in mind the objective of presenting a primer directed to the indigenous community so that explain the construction development and that it could be a reference paper about how to build in an ancestral way different from the industrialized ones.     Abstract

    Las construcciones vernáculas son la respuesta materializada a las necesidades de vivienda y edificios comunales de poblaciones que las construyen con materiales propios de la zona donde habitan, usando técnicas constructivas autónomas, sin recurrir a los profesionales de la construcción. Las malocas de los indígenas Muina Murui, etnia Uitoto, hacen parte de este tipo de arquitectura y la forma como ellos construyen estas casas comunales se ha mantenido en gran medida desde tiempos prehispánicos. Sin embargo, este conocimiento ancestral indígena ha sido relegado por el modelo constructivo industrializado, que remplaza con técnicas modernas a la arquitectura vernácula. Por lo tanto el proyecto que se presenta en este documento se llevó a cabo con la colaboración de la comunidad “Patio de ciencia dulce” ubicada en el corregimiento de Tarapacá del departamento del Amazonas, es una propuesta académica para describir como es el proceso constructivo de la maloca, como es la relación del indígena con ella y como se presenta ese componente cultural característico de las construcciones vernáculas, con el objetivo de presentar una cartilla dirigida a la comunidad indígena que ilustre el desarrollo de la construcción y que además funcione como un material de consulta y referencia sobre una forma de construir diferente a las industrializadas.
