Abstract

The intermodal Center Sutagaos is located in the locality of Usme, in the south of the city of Bogota, is strategically implanted in the road node of the Avenue Boyacá that is a route of regional scale and the Avenue Caracas, route of urban scale , the project was raised due to the dismantling of the different transport systems of the city which causes problems of congestion, pollution and segregation to the population, for this reason the project pretends through the architectural development To articulate the different modes of transport and to include services of continuous access for the community and to reconnect the urban area with the natural environment, starting from the concept of the transition, that means, to design a project that allows the pedestrian to access in an easy way to the different transport systems existing in the place and also take advantage of the systems that are proposed for the future by the state, besides this include services, and spaces of culture at architectural and urban level redesigning the river basin Tunjuelito through the redesign of public space. The development of the project was realized from the experience of the problematic, visits to the place, support of public documents, that allowed to have a foundation of how to reduce the problem in general, in this sense it is intended that the mobility in the sector improves, Increase the quality of the service and the community take the equipment.
