AIKA, EL RENACER DE GUACHETÁ. Diseño urbano como herramienta para la revitalización físico espacial y cultural del municipio de Guachetá, Cundinamarca

Abstract

The municipality of Guachetá in its 483 years (one more than Bogotá) has established itself as a node of mining and dairy production in the province of Ubaté, Cundinamarca and over the years it has seen how its urban development has grown limited by the migration of its inhabitants to other places in the region due to the lack of opportunities and variety of activities within the municipality, as well as the loss and forgetfulness of the identity and cultural values of the municipality, this has led to deterioration urban and disappearance of the architectural and cultural heritage of the place. This project encourages the urban and cultural revitalization of the municipality based on urban design tools that strengthen the heritage and cultural value of the municipality in order to guarantee a rebirth that manages to root its inhabitants and promote spaces for tourism and regional recognition.
