Las herramientas web 2.0 como recurso pedagógico para la interpretación de las representaciones de los roles de género en estudiantes de quinto grado del Colegio Rural Quiba Alta - IED

Abstract

This research study emerges from the need to identify how gender roles are constructors of subjectivity, and therefore, can be discriminatory if they are linked to stereotypes that condition the feelings and experiences of both men and women. In this sense, it aims to understand phenomenologically the interpretations of the gender roles of the fifth grade students of the Quiba Alta Rural School, based on a pedagogical resource mediated by web 2.0 tools. The participants of this study are 5 girls and 5 boys from fifth grade, under a phenomenological methodological design, which allows to reflect on the experiences and feelings emanating from the students, after interacting with web 2.0 tools and with their peers. With this, the description of the lived experience is given, making use of the software for qualitative data analysis, ATLAS.ti, generating a kind of discussion where the theoretical foundations are related to the experiences and feelings of the participants in the study. This allows us to conclude, among other things, that even today, the school contributes significantly to the reproduction of traditional gender roles, but in the same way, it has the conditions to counteract and restructure them, as evidenced in this research study.
