ARQUITECTURA PARA LA EDUCACIÓN: Universidad Tecnológica Agroindustrial de Arauca (UTA)

Abstract

The ARCHITECTURE FOR EDUCATION project was born in response to the evident territorial imbalance in the distribution of public and private endowment facilities, where there are sectors that lack development, such as higher education in the department of Arauca. After having analyzed the economic, social, and cultural dynamics, together with the needs and demands of its inhabitants, the importance of the presence of the higher education service with adequate infrastructure in the department is established. Having stated the above, the relevance is determined and the architectural design of the Arauca Agroindustrial Technological University (UTA) is carried out, which takes into account the vocations of the territory and encourages its productive activity, through flexible learning environments , linked to complementary inclusive environments; in order to contribute to reducing the deficit of higher education in the department, seeking to encourage and enhance agricultural and economic activity in it.
