Pisos en totumo (crescentia cujete) en el municipio de Villanueva Casanare

Abstract

The objective of this project is to implement a type of floor using the husk of the fruit of the totumo, taking advantage of the advantages it has despite being of a wood material, this idea arises from the problems that are presented with the wooden floors of our market from which the focus is on the contact with water since this causes the floor to deform; In other problems is included the waste of this fruit in Colombia for many people is not a product of much demand; is implemented the use of this fruit also for aid to the figures cans of the tree felling, since that is going to use the fruit and not the tree. In the process of carrying out the proposal to implement a natural resource like totumo in flats, information to study the properties that have in the same way the disadvantages of which is implemented the harvesting of the fruit and the elaboration of the tablets from which in its process of obtaining them was an empirical method of failure and error until achieving the objective main. The floor system obtained is subjected to a variety of tests, in which its results are favorable and a possible conclusion of its commercialization in the wood flooring market is reached nationwide because it is a novel floor and of great advantages.
