Using the theory of process improvement, identifying the flaws in the methodology, valuing the components of the same and replicating it in a similar case study. This investigation includes a progressive development of different stages that starts from the bibliographic compilation and review of antecedents to the processing of the documentary data obtained in the field, elaboration of planimetry, correlations and analysis of the results that allow to integrate all the variables in a model of final proposal. A replication of the methodology was made in the case selected as study, taking into account the most relevant aspects of it. Through direct observations of the structural elements and the documentation of the findings in previously proposed cards, contrasted with the literature consulted, the process was valued and using the improvement system PHVA, to detect the aspects that could be improved. In this way it was possible to conclude that with the implementation of improvements in the pathological study by systems, it generates a better performance of the tasks of recognition of pathological processes, in terms of carrying out the study activities in an organized and systematic way.     Abstract

    El estudio de patología constructiva es una herramienta regularmente usada para denotar fallas en las edificaciones a través de reconocimiento y diagnóstico de las estructuras y sus componentes, pero en el caso de la guadua, el estudio patológico es limitado, debido principalmente a la falta de investigación sobre este material. A partir de una metodología propuesta por estudiantes de ingeniería, se busca acercar un proceso propuesto a la estandarización de estudios patológicos para guadua, que complementen las investigaciones de la misma. Usando la teoría de mejoramiento de procesos, identificando las fallas en la metodología, valorando los componentes de la misma y replicándolo en un caso de estudio similar. Esta investigación comprende un desarrollo progresivo de diferentes etapas que inicia desde la recopilación bibliográfica y revisión de antecedentes hasta el procesamiento de los datos documentales obtenidos en campo, elaboración de planimetrías, correlaciones y análisis de los resultados que permiten integrar todas las variables en un modelo de propuesta final. Se realizó una réplica de la metodología en el caso seleccionado como de estudio, teniendo en cuenta los aspectos más relevantes de la misma. Por medio de observaciones directas de los elementos estructurales y la documentación de los hallazgos en fichas propuestas previamente, contrastada con la literatura consultada, logró valorarse el proceso y haciendo uso del sistema de mejora Planificar, Hacer, Verificar, Actuar PHVA, detectar los aspectos susceptibles de mejora. De esta manera se concluyó que, con la implementación de mejoras del estudio patológico por sistemas, genera un mejor desempeño de las labores de reconocimiento de procesos patológicos, en cuanto a la realización de las actividades del estudio en forma organizada y sistemática.
