The role of the modern school is the deal with this phenomenon that encompasses psychological and socio-economic factors. This documentary analysis takes the case of Columbine High School (1999) ,with the aim of identifying the factors associated with a behavior or a student that means a potential threat or risk to their classmates, teachers or the institution itself. In addition, raising awareness of a silent but dangerous enemy called Bullying. In this document, all referenced authors agree that the humiliation, to which they were subjected teens, was the main reason to unleash that student massacre. On the other hand, Moore (2002) indicates that the easy access to firearms is a factor which seriously influences for the development and execution of those cases.     Abstract

    El conflicto armado en Colombia es un problema social que ha llegado a afectar familias, campesinos, ciudades y la educación. El rol de la escuela moderna es el de afrontar éste fenómeno que abarca factores psicológicos y socio-económicos. Éste análisis documental toma el caso de la masacre en Columbine High School (1999), con el objetivo de identificar los factores asociados a una conducta o un estudiante que signifique una posible amenaza o riesgo para sus compañeros, docentes o la institución en sí. Además, generar conciencia de un enemigo silencioso pero peligroso llamado bullying. En este documento, todos los autores referenciados coinciden en que la humillación a la que fueron sometidos los adolescentes, fue el motivo principal para desatar esa masacre estudiantil. Por otro lado, Moore (2002) indica que el fácil acceso a las armas de fuego es un factor que influye gravemente para el desarrollo y ejecución de esos casos. Mientras que Ghose (2012) culpa a los videojuegos, cine, televisión y música de ser quienes impulsan a los adolescentes a ese tipo de comportamiento, para Brown & Meritt (2006) estos factores son una expresión artística del odio que siente una persona
