    Dos riquezas históricas: Gaitán y el Gaitanismo

    The objective of this article is to encourage Colombian historical memory through the recognition of Gaitanism and its symbol Jorge Eliecer Gaitan. The content was based on the revision of several references, including articles, audios, books about historical memory, Jorge Eliecer Gaitan and Gaitanism, this review was made through the method of documentary research, which allowed to investigate, analyze and interpret the information with the technique of reading cards, a method which facilitated the obtaining of complete and deep data of the subject, its content is divided into several aspects such as the life of Jorge Eliecer, his charisma, the works that throughout of his life he played, the day of his death, what is remembered of him and of course the world situation that was lived in 1948. The results show the lack of Colombian historical memory that have several generations, it is also visualized the misrepresentation of stories about Jorge Eliecer Gaitan and Gaitanismo depending on each point of view. It is concluded that the recognition of the other, the criticism, the discussion and the deep analysis of the subject is of vital importance to enrich the Colombian historical memory, not only in the classroom, but in all possible areas, for that reason, the article is open for any public wishing to delve into the subject, whether for educational purposes or for their own purposes. In other words, it is fundamental to recover and enrich the Colombian historical memory around Gaitán through Colombian education because it is pertinent to promote a holistic perspective of this knowledge in education for an effective construction of knowledge without neglecting aspects that mistakenly, they believe themselves to be unimportant in history, this in order to promote the Colombian social construction which is always dynamic and permanent

    Within the dynamics of the Colombian State raise a number of problems in higher education students who are in different faults both in the university and in the ignorance of the Colombian legal system and even in the same student regulations established by the educational faculty. as well as the principle of university autonomy from the jurisprudential point of view, distinguishing the faculties of judges in Colombia based on the principle of constitutional primacy, the overreaching of the functions to be carried out by university bodies has been translated and said.     La lectura crítica y el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico a partir del contraste de las dos versiones original y alterna de los cuentos de hadas / Pensamiento crítico a partir de la lectura de cuentos de hadas

    There is a big concern for the absence of the critical attitude and low levels of reading in students. These voices are regularly heard: children and young people do not read and if they read do it too poorly. Many people hold responsible to environment factors like: bad reading habits, or external factors such as lighting, posture, bad materials, among others. In fact, these can be intervened and corrected. This work is aiming at generating the critical thinking from the analysis of fairy tales in its original and alternate versions. It is rely on the language and social sciences teachers from Liceo Colombia school, located at 54C-40 138_street in Colina Campestre neighborhood in Bogotá city, and directed towards fifth grade students. The process was done applying the action-research method, through the execution of several techniques that allow results evaluation like (“Saber” test, "avancemos" test, interviews, surveys, field journals and application workshops). The results indicated that, this educational strategy contributes to promote the students critical thinking by means of reading. It is concluded that teachers should give reading patterns to students like: interest, attention, assumption, synthesis, also generate a training process in which they see the importance of reading, and in this way, strengthen reading and critical thinking, understood in the reading process, as a thinking way that evaluates ideas and information, in order to decide what to believe and what to accept. Critical thinking, references to a critical reading that is active, proactive, reflects, questions, and analyzes. It means a reading as a reader willingness, to try to get the text deep meaning, the ideas which are not seen, the foundations, reasoning and the ideology that underlies in it. This makes possible to take into account various explanations and do not take anything for granted; but develop suspicion and questioning

    Una mirada al proceso de desarrollo autónomo en la ciudad

    The interest of the following work lies in analyzing school and family processes that can contribute to the development and strengthening of skills related to geographical location within the city in the students of the José Francisco Socarrás school, because a large part of the population Student who finishes his school stage presents difficulties to move autonomously in it. The theory deals with the impact of the approach to real scenarios during the school training stage in the generation of significant experiences that contribute elements for life, in addition to the value of geography for the training process. Under a qualitative approach and a methodological design of phenomenological character, information is gathered and analyzed from three corners directly related to the problem: students, teachers and parents. This is to understand the perceptions and actions of everyone around the situation. It is concluded that, on the one hand, the educational institution does not provide the spaces and conditions that teachers consider fundamental for the strengthening of said abilities from the pedagogical act, the latter feeling that their possibilities to contribute in this process are very limited, and that In spite of the fact that parents lead their children to experiences of approaching the city, they do not seem to be sufficient actions to generate in them the capacity and autonomy necessary to move within it and be a protective agent of it. All of the above due to the fact that the objective of these experiences does not converge in the fact that students recognize the city, but that they are limited to family fun and the approach to representative places, experiences that do not generate in the imaginary students related to culture, history and reality of the city

    Identidad territorial en el Sumapaz: de organizaciones sociales a laboratorios educativos

    The objective of this article revolves around the personal and collective construction of the territorial identity that is present in the development of educational processes in Sumapaz, in the events promoted by families, the inhabitants of the territory and the organizations that contribute from your perspective, experience and interest. The education in Sumapaz has a series of accumulated that in the time has had greater participation in the actions of their collectivities, mainly from the expression of their feelings that cling to tasks in the defense of the territory. The systematization of experiences will be the tool used to interpret the events, in this way to understand the dynamics of the place, making an orderly recovery of information to a specific group and how the different dynamics transformed their life, history, context and education. The technique used is the interview, through which you can inquire about the different events and characteristics of the leaders or representatives of a segment of organizations that have participated in educational development in Sumapaz. The meeting with the old and current organizations is done through a dialogue of knowledge that is transmitted or replicated by parents, children, grandchildren, adults and young people interested in the territorial processes, since education, identity and belonging by territory are an act of family attachment. But they are not the only subjects interested in the territory of Sumapaz, the participation of people in general, their interest in land, life and water, allows them to acquire the characteristic of identifying and apprehending about territory

    Implementación de herramientas call en el aula para promover la apropiación de vocabulario en inglés

    The increase of technology has an incidence inside the fields that not only connect the free time and entertainment, internet is present in each space of kids and adults’ life. However, the utilization of emerging technologies are not shown in the integral formation in the students, neither inside a process for learn a second language. Besides that, there are tools that make easy the process of vocabulary learning and grammatical structures inside the English course, this one is known by teachers and students for been virtual instruments. Therefore, this investigation has an objective of supply knowledge about CALL tools, with the purpose of improve the compression in students of fifth grade according to the topics about continues present/simple past and stablish the utility of these tools to make the investigation. The investigation has a qualitative approach, by interpretative and empiric aspects that describe problematic situations to interpret individual’s reality. Likewise, action research methodology is reflexive, social because begin since the individual, then group cooperation and follows community serving. Initial technic was a diagnostic test about CALL tools as a Drive Presentations and Storybird been evaluated by the teacher to observe students’ progress. Finally develops a final test to know the influence of CALL tools in English learning. For the data review, makes a chart of each instrument, them realize the codification by colors obtains fourteen categories for the analysis, built tables and graphics of the category interpretation. As a conclusion according with the evidences, results and analysis, became strong and has new knowledge about English topics saw it in class for fifth grade, through CALL tools proposes un the investigation

    Deserción, una mirada al interior de la Escuela de Cadetes de Policía “General Santander" /Dropout, a look inside the Police Cadets Academy “General Santander”

    This article presents the college dropout in the Police Cadets Academy “General Francisco de Paula Santander” as a university campus of the National Direction of Academies of the Colombian National Police, it is elaborated starting with the review of different studies that had been realized, both nationally and internationally, about this phenomenon, through the content analysis of the interviews named as “retirement free version”, that are given by the Cadets of the Academy when they decide in a volunteer way to stop their formation as police administrators and future police officer of the National Police of Colombia. This study will let us to understand, the reason why the Cadets dropout from the formation at the Police Academy, as well as making a reflection the promotes taking the necessary measures to reduce the college dropout of the university mentioned, searching for the guarantee the ending of the formation process as future Police Officers, whom after all contributes to the materialization of the State essential endings, from the guarantee of the security, the peaceful coexistence and the permanence of a fair order inside the Colombian society

    Efectividad del método AICLE en la asignatura “desórdenes del lenguaje infantil”

    This work aims to evaluate the CLIL method in the subject "Language disorders in children", the corpus consisted in the application of a diagnosis at the beginning and end of the semester in order to know the effectiveness of the method in learning a foreign language , both content and language, an interview was conducted with twelve participants including a teacher to know the perceptions of the students and of the same teacher in front of the subject and their experience in terms of bilingual education. The method used for this research was a case study. The instruments used were; participant observation, interviews, and virtual diagnosis (designed by the British Council) and a written diagnosis on the contents of the disciplinary area " language disorders in children" taught with the CLIL method. The results showed that students acquired new vocabulary through this method, generating motivation and a positive perception on the part of students regarding this bilingual subject. However, the limitations for some students was the English language, since not all had the same level, for this reason the teaching of this subject caused traumatism to understand the concept of some theories, in addition it was identified that sometimes the language used as Communication vehicle was a barrier between the teacher and the student, to have an assertive communication. On the other hand, it was concluded that; the method generated an advance at the level of vocabulary and concept, however, at the level of grammatical structure - English there were limitations, most students have a positive perception about the bilingual subject and considered English as an important language for their professional development. However, those who did not have the same level of English, their perception of the subject was not so positive. As a future improvement plan was established; have as a prerequisite an intermediate level of English to register this bilingual subject, generate spaces in the University, as conversational clubs so that students can practice their English, and finally offer constant training to teachers who teach bilingual subjects with the so that their level improves and thus be able to offer a better academic service

    Recomendaciones para la acreditación en las licenciaturas de Ciencias Sociales e Inglés de la Universidad La Gran Colombia

    The intention of this article is to provide recommendations for the institution and the students taking as reference the student factor stipulated in the accreditation guidelines for undergraduate programs (2013) of the National Accreditation Council (NAC). Because the bachelor programs in English and Social Sciences of the University of La Gran Colombia failed in the process of high accreditation in 2016, being the lack of updating of the bibliographic materials, the few research processes, the low dissemination and appropriation of the student regulations of the programs, the lack of teaching permanence, some of the reasons for the negative. Therefore, the following question arises: How can the students of the aforementioned programs contribute to strengthen the process of accreditation of high quality? The confirmation of the problem was through the use of qualitative research, which has as a study group some students from the aforementioned degrees, who initially conducted a survey, which served as a filter to identify 9 students. Subsequently, they conducted an interview in which it was possible to create categories that yielded results, such as lack of sense of belonging, lack promulgation of information and lack participation of them. Finally, when confronting the factor of students of the NAC with the daily reality of the learners, some final recommendations are exposed to improve the process of high accreditation

    Solución de conflictos convivenciales a través de habilidades artísticas en el aula

    The conflict is an element of the human being, so in the training stage it is essential to give a practical treatment to improve relations in spaces such as the classroom, no doubt the alternatives that arise can be varied, but as a special method Artistic skills can be determined as a mediating channel. The objective of this research is to determine the possibilities of artistic skills in the solution of conflicts coexistence. To this end, the research question is as follows: What are the possibilities of artistic skills in the solution of coexistence conflicts among ninth grade students of the Instituto Cooperativo Superior? In this context, it was proposed to diagnose the different coexistence problems existing in the classroom, identify the relevant artistic skills on the part of the teachers and classify what students do with these skills in front of the problem situations, questionnaires and surveys were done to students and teachers. , taking into account the axis of the research action of a qualitative type with a socio-affective approach. From the analysis of the emotional reality in the students, the obtained results allowed to present the factors of the conflict; such as, superiority, selfishness, lack of listening, little recognition of the other and rivalry; As artistic skills, music, dance and visual arts were decisive for the treatment of the aforementioned factors which shows recognition by students through expression, reflection and communication key elements to solve conflicts within and outside the classroom, additional research could be carried out to identify other factors that contribute to the transformation into conflict areas

    Factores que intervienen en el aprendizaje de inglés en la academia Power English de Zipaquirá

    This research project is based on the general education law (115 of 1994), it seeks to recognize the factors that influence the English learning process as a second language, the research process was carried out in 24 students who are studying an intensive English program at Power English, a non-formal education academy located in Zipaquirá-Cundinamarca, therefore, three students were selected to apply a semi-structured interview, these students presented the most advanced level among the target population, according to the Common European Framework of Reference, evaluated with a kind of (PET) Placement English Test, therefore, we identified the common external and internal factors, which improve an effective development in the English learning process as a second language.

    Estudio de la implementación y uso de las Tic’s en los programas de educación virtual con registro calificado de las universidades públicas en la ciudad de Bogotá

    This paper aims to analyze the way in which has been developed the implementation of Information and communicational technologies in the Virtual Education programs in Public Universities of Bogotá. Thus, It introduces a model that take care issues related to the organization, the teaching- learning process and the technological infrastructure for the programs studied. This research has been developed by the exploration of the institutional documents and by application of a observation instrument in the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and the Universidad Abierta y a Distancia. It concludes that the implementation in these universities has been characterized by an heterogeneous process that has privileged the technological infrastructure and requires major development in the organizational and teaching-learning process issues.

    El uso del mapa mental en el desarrollo de la comprensión de lectura

    This article is based on the research carried out at the School Americano in which an observation was carried out from a didactic sequence developed in two class sessions. It was proposed not only for the development of the research, but also for the possible advancement of the sample. During this period of time, the students had a reading approach through the development of the mind map as a pedagogical tool for the reading comprehension. The above is stablished on the different possibilities that arise from the problems incorporated on the academic field since people have previous concepts and some exercises work according to their abilities. However, they do not achieve an interpretation or total comprehension of the texts and this affects their academic process and even their daily life. The development of an objective was considered, which is to implement a didactic sequence based on mind maps that allows the improvement of reading comprehension, using resources that provide a light to interpret a text by means of criteria proposed by the mind map. The use of the observation technique allows to make a contrast to distinguish each of the elements without a direct researcher intervention. The rule used to make there view of the criteria in each of the exercises gave the main meaning of such a process, due to you can locate how the student understands a topic or how he/she uses his creativity to make it visible on the map.The observation and the development of the didactic sequence suggest that the tool benefits the learners, taking into account its application with a proactive and dynamic teacher, one that understands the brain abilities and its extensions.

    The knowledge loss in the several occupations or jobs that are heritage since The Nueva Granada Colony have been erased from history since that time. The talla en piedra technique relates to cantería job and plastic components in the execution of three-dimensional language, in arts faculties and schools of Colombia. Also present some problems about the knowledge loss in the curriculum of the cloisters most representative of Bogotá since the nineteenth century. For that reason, the purpose of this investigation is that the researchers work in the identification about the reasons that produced the knowledge loss in the use of this technique and the closed of these institutions, where it's necessary take into account the participation of some universities and arts schools of the city. In that sense it's important to the researchers know the consequences in the preservation of the Cultural Heritage of movable and immovable property. The lack of professionals with the required knowledge is other difficulty that complement one part of the concerns for the lack of knowledge and the absence in the teach of the la talla en piedra technique today. How a method, the researchers used the qualitative investigation in education to employ the document analysis, for the techniques of investigation were develop some interviews semi-structured to some universities in Bogotá. Also, were accomplished the documental analysis of historical texts. One of the most relevant results of this investigation that obtained was that this technique is an occupation that with the advance of time this it has been integrated in the "oficios artesanales", and it have been to see as minor’s arts with little importance in the artistic field. The immediacy of current artistic practices has made a dent in the academy, not to teach this trade that is already unknown by the teachers of these artistic centers, and for this current digital generation of students.

    Estrategias de aprendizaje para mejorar los resultados de las pruebas SABER PRO en inglés

    The purpose of this work is to promote learning strategies related to the SABER PRO test in order to obtain better results from the English degree students at the University La Gran Colombia. Results from recent years show how only half of the students reached the highest level in the English portion of the test. Therefore is considered necessary the use of learning strategies, a poll was taken of students in their last semesters, finding out most of them considered that they should be focused on reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. These findings indicate the need to set up activities so that students can comprehend texts and understand question found on this test. Allowing them to obtain better results.

    The academic reflection towards the students of architectural project has led to formulate a methodological design in this area in order to provide them with methodological tools to develop a formal and systematic architectural project, through a specific collection and organization of the information. Which, is developed in different stages, ensuring a process that allows the observation and abstraction of said information, identifying the first design guidelines. As a result of the methodological design, each of the activities is articulated through the proposals of architectural design, from its basic idea to its materialization. This design will provide from the teaching a new practice of learning for the student, applying methodological design resource which becomes an advantage to form new skills in response to the architectural response.

    La incidencia de las habilidades artísticas en resolución de conflictos en las aulas de clase

    The purpose of this article is to give an appreciation of how conflicts between students can be resolved when artistic skills affect the process, as it can be seen how the rate of violence in educational institutions in Colombia has increased. The main objective of this article is to examine the phenomenon of violence, conflicts in classrooms and their resolution through artistic skills in the seventh grade of Our Lady of the Valvanera Parish School. As a complement to this objective, the aim is to analyze the situation of violence in the school, determine the incidence of students' artistic abilities for the resolution of conflicts and define an intervention plan for the students. Through specific case studies, a documentary review is made in which it is possible to define whether the artistic abilities of an individual when confronting a conflict are important, since the feeling and the points of view with respect to each other are different. an individual who possesses these skills in a depleted manner or does not have them

    This article will take into account the different difficulties suffered by many of the students' prospects, always based on education in Colombia with respect to the few almost null economic resources designated by the current governors, the pauper payments correspond to teachers, the lack of physical plants etc, it is necessary to be aware to determine that there are many and diverse conflicts that face an innocent University student who is entering the first year of undergraduate law school from Universidad la Gran Colombia, mainly because the lack of job opportunities is the factor that perhaps complicates the continuity and permanence of academic spaces and times in which he wishes to develop intellectually. Really and primarily what this research seeks is to determine what are the most important factors of desertion in undergraduate students of law of the Universidad la Gran Colombia, as well as to know what type of students drop out taking into account the age, sex , and the difficulties in which he finds himself at the moment of solving his expenses and of trying to access a job which in the majority of the cases looks for trained personnel with minimal experience which the "primiparo" student does not have due to the difficulties They do not have access to appropriate work training and then develop in the workplace. This research was developed under an ethnographic method with a qualitative approach. Initially, the instrument of the survey was applied to sixty law students in the university of Gran Colombia, which subsequently focused on four interviews with students who have defected from the UGC followed by Codification process with its respective analysis and finalize with its respective conclusion which determines that the economic situation is the main cause of academic desertion in the undergraduate program of the Faculty of Law
