Abstract

One of the main problems presented in the architectural heritage is the physical deterioration of the same, due to the lack of interest of both private individuals and public entities, to preserve the physical integrity and historical value of the Property Patrimonial. An example of this is the specific case of the former Colegio Diosa Chía (previously named La Filiada) considered as a Cultural Interest of Municipal scope, according to the current POT of Chia. In order to conserve and rehabilitate this building, an analysis of the sector is carried out through the Principal Ecological Structure, Socioeconomic Structure and Functional and Service Structure, identifying the needs of the sector in their respective scales (macro, meso and micro) proposing an architectural project in order to integrate the building to a network of equipment that apply to the concept of urban acupuncture, posing greater coverage as the deficit of higher education in the municipality. In this way an architectural project is developed that rehabilitates the patrimonial building, encouraging the population to appropriate and value the architectural heritage of the municipality.
