Ciudad Majuy: Estrategias de diseño y planificación urbano regional en lametropolización de la Sabana de Bogotá. Caso : ConurbaciónCorredor noroccidente Bogotá - Cota - Chía - Cajicá

Abstract

The municipalities of Cota and Chía are located in the first metropolitan ring of the City of Bogotá, concentrating in the northwestern part of the city, historically these municipalities have been expanding thanks to the impacts that have brought the establishments that became emblematic, such as for example, in the municipality of Chía Andrés Carne de Res restaurant and in Cota new constructions on the rural edge of the municipality; According to this, certain problems have been found, such as, for example, El Majuy hill is a very important ecological structure that functions as an environmental limit in the municipalities of Cota and Tenjo; Before the inhabitants of Cota began to occupy unestablished territories there was an indigenous community that due to the growth of the municipality was forced to leave their territory and that they are currently living near the forest reserve the novitiate, the planning in the union of these municipalities, is the main problem to be solved in the present project, according to the MPT in the next 15 years will be conurbated, but in this conurbation will be private constructions and alien to the environment and the future population of these municipalities. therefore these common interests are related to the health service, in Cota the deficit of equipment in hospitals is 20%, generating tensions with the municipality of Chia since it does have the necessary coverage. For these reasons the present project consists of three parts (Investigative, argumentative and strategic) which will solve the different problems, by planning the conurbation presented in the territory of these two municipalities.
