dc.description	Durante muchos años la violencia a causa del conflicto armado y la falta de oportunidades educativas y laborales ha generado que los habitantes de Matanza - Santander abandonen su municipio hacia Bucaramanga (capital del departamento) y su área metropolitana dada su cercanía en busca de tener calidad de vida. Por lo cual, el presente trabajo investigativo propone configurar una intervención que reactive el desarrollo y reconocimiento del municipio, por medio del tejido urbano y la conectividad de los espacios naturales y culturales desde un enfoque del ecoturismo. Para lograr nuestro objetivo, se empleará una metodología mixta al implementar técnicas como la encuesta y la cartografía social para el análisis y diagnóstico de la información base para la propuesta y su entregable final. Este proyecto es relevante al generar una conexión urbano-rural y urbano-regional que reactivará las actividades económicas, sociales, recreativas y deportivas asociadas al turismo dentro del municipio, y su reactivación y reconocimiento local de provincial de Soto Norte, acompañado del planeamiento de nuevos equipamientos y mejoramiento de la estructura física existente y vías actuales. Finalmente, nuestro interés en esta investigación surge de la observación y recorridos previos que han generado interrogantes frente a la situación problemática actual del municipio, la cual puede ser respondida desde una propuesta urbanística que integre lo urbano, ambiental y social a partir de las necesidades de sus habitantes y las características del espacio para su conservación. Desarrollamos este trabajo como ejemplo para casos futuros con un enfoque multilateral.	spa
dc.description.abstract	For many years, the violence due to the armed conflict united with the lack of educational and employment opportunities has led the inhabitants of Matanza - Santander to leave their municipality. In search of better life quality, Bucaramanga (capital of the department) and its metropolitan area are the most common destination given its proximity. Therefore, the present investigative work proposes an intervention that reactivates the development and improve the municipality's recognition, using urban fabric to bound natural and cultural spaces from an ecotourism approach. This work proposes a mixed methodology to achieve the project goals, for example, the usage of different techniques such as the survey and social mapping. This method allows an analyse and diagnosticate the base information for the proposal and its final deliverable. This project's relevance consists in generating an urban-rural and urban-regional connection. This link will activate the economic, social, recreational and sports activities associated with tourism within the municipality. Furthermore, we expect a direct impact is a subsequent local and provincial reactivation of Soto Norte, accompanied by the planning or new equipment and improvements of the existing physical structure and current roads. Finally, our interest in this research arises from the observation and previous tours, which have generated questions regarding the current municipality problematic situation. which can be answered from an urban proposal that integrates the urban, environmental and social from the needs of its inhabitants and the characteristics of the space for its conservation. We develop this work as an example for future cases with a multilateral approach.	spa
