dc.description.abstractCorresponde este estudio a una primera etapa de investigación donde se construyó un modelo de valoración que a partir de la definición de una serie de variables y atributos permitieran caracterizar un sector patrimonial. Para poder definir las variables y los atributos fue necesario tomar como referencia un lugar con estas características. En tal sentido, se optó por el barrio de La Magdalena en Bogotá, el cual hace parte de un gran sector declarado de interés urbanístico y arquitectónico como es Teusaquillo. Esta propuesta, por tanto, no intenta hacer una historiografía del barrio y menos hacer catalogaciones estilísticas de su arquitectura. Se recurrió a este sector como un referente para la definición de los componentes que requería el modelo teórico crítico planteado en esta investigación utilizando la noción de paisaje social como herramienta conceptual y que, desde las limitaciones propias de un estudio de estas características, permitiera un acercamiento a las problemáticas que derivan de la valoración de los sectores patrimoniales en la actualidad. Estas inquietudes hacen parte de la necesidad de construir teoría y crítica desde los espacios académicos donde se debe promover la reflexión y la argumentación acerca de los problemas que afectan la ciudad actual.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis study corresponds to a first stage of research where a valuation model was built based on the definition of a series of variables and attributes to characterize a heritage sector. In order to define the variables and attributes, it was necessary to take as a reference a place with these characteristics. In this sense, the La Magdalena neighborhood in Bogota was chosen, which is part of a large sector declared of urban and architectural interest such as Teusaquillo. This proposal, therefore, does not attempt to make a historiography of the neighborhood and even less to catalog its architecture stylistically. This sector was used as a reference for the definition of the components required by the critical theoretical model proposed in this research, using the notion of social landscape as a conceptual tool that, from the limitations of a study of these characteristics, would allow an approach to the problems derived from the valuation of heritage sectors at present. These concerns are part of the need to build theory and criticism from academic spaces where reflection and argumentation about the problems affecting the city today should be promoted.en
