dc.description	La presente investigación y diseño proyectual se desarrolla a partir de las problemáticas territoriales que enfrenta la construcción del espacio como mecanismo de desarrollo y planificación urbana, la articulación entre los ecosistemas urbanos y ambientales, la importancia de la distribución del espacio urbano, el desarrollo de proyectos de infraestructura y el reingreso de nuevos modelos de movilidad masiva en centros metropolitanos de la Sabana de Occidente; teniendo en cuenta las cargas y beneficios de estos mismos dentro del entorno urbano. Con base a estos nuevos modelos se propone una metodología de lectura y análisis territorial denominada ecotonos urbanos; la cual permite relacionar e identificar los diferentes espacios de transición de los ecosistemas urbanos y naturales dentro de un mismo contexto y territorio, conectando -distintos conceptos y lineamientos de la planificación urbana y del paisaje; La lectura territorial fue aplicada en el estudio del Borde sur de Facatativá, municipio que se encuentra fragmentado en dos ejes estructurantes a nivel regional como son el Río Los Andes y el corredor férreo de Occidente; siendo el segundo influyente en el desarrollo de comunicaciones económicas, sociales y culturales entre los núcleos urbanos de Santa Marta, Girardot y Bogotá , al contar con una estación intermodal de pasajeros, carga, abastecimiento de combustible y agua para las locomotoras y trenes; generando gran impacto en factores sociológicos y económicos que dan un alto nivel de jerarquía , memoria e identidad histórica al municipio. Actualmente esta infraestructura ha perdido su valor histórico, económico y funcional a causa de los procesos de deterioro social y urbano generados con el paso del tiempo; valor que podría ser recuperado al implementar nuevas dinámicas urbanas, dando paso a un gran potencial de transformación y desarrollo para el municipio de Facatativá y su entorno. La implementación del Regiotram como nueva infraestructura de movilidad metropolitana hace posible la renovación e integración entre el sistema ambiental y urbano tomando como instrumento de ordenamiento el desarrollo de proyectos integrales de transporte, que trae consigo transformaciones en la base económica, social, ambiental y urbana con respecto al rol de consolidación de redes de ciudades; respondiendo de esta forma a problemas de deterioro urbano y paisajístico, desintegración de las dinámicas urbanas, falta de servicios e infraestructura, déficit de espacio público y bordes no consolidados. Esta propuesta busca recuperar, reactivar e integrar las estructuras urbanas mediante conceptos como los ecotonos, sucesiones espaciales, el transecto y relaciones entre fenómenos que convergen en el territorio. Así mismo permite identificar mediante una sección urbana los distintos ecosistemas que adopta el diseño proyectual a algunas estrategias de los DOT (Desarrollo orientado al transporte) promoviendo así el mejoramiento, reordenamiento y recualificación del espacio urbano a través de la definición de acciones integrales que concluyan un proyecto de alta calidad urbanística y arquitectónica en un eje estructurante del municipio.	spa
dc.description.abstract	This research and project design is developed based on the territorial problems facing the construction of space as a mechanism for development and urban planning, the articulation between urban and environmental ecosystems, the importance of the distribution of urban space, the development of projects infrastructure and the re-entry of new models of mass mobility in metropolitan centers of the Sabana de Occidente; taking into account the loads and benefits of these within the urban environment. Based on these new models, a territorial reading and analysis methodology called urban ecotones is proposed; which allows to relate and identify the different transition spaces of urban and natural ecosystems within the same context and territory, connecting -different concepts and guidelines of urban and landscape planning; The territorial reading was applied in the study of the southern edge of Facatativá, a municipality that is fragmented into two structuring axes at the regional level, such as the Andes River and the western corridor; being the second influential in the development of economic, social and cultural communications between the urban centers of Santa Marta, Girardot and Bogotá, having an intermodal passenger, cargo, fuel and water supply station for locomotives and trains; generating great impact on sociological and economic factors that give a high level of hierarchy, memory and historical identity to the municipality. Currently, this infrastructure has lost its historical, economic and functional value due to the processes of social and urban deterioration generated over time; value that could be recovered by implementing new urban dynamics, giving way to great potential for transformation and development for the municipality of Facatativá and its surroundings. The implementation of Regiotram as a new metropolitan mobility infrastructure makes possible the renewal and integration between the environmental and urban system, taking as an ordering instrument the development of comprehensive transport projects, which brings about transformations in the economic, social, environmental and urban base with regarding the role of consolidation of city networks; responding in this way to problems of urban and landscape deterioration, disintegration of urban dynamics, lack of services and infrastructure, deficit of public space and unconsolidated borders. This proposal seeks to recover, reactivate and integrate urban structures through concepts such as ecotones, spatial successions, the transect and relationships between phenomena that converge in the territory. Likewise, it allows to identify through an urban section the different ecosystems that the project design adopts to some DOT strategies (Development oriented to transport), thus promoting the improvement, reordering and requalification of the urban space through the definition of integral actions that conclude a high quality urban and architectural project in a structuring axis of the municipality.	spa
