Plan parcial de renovación urbana como instrumento de adaptación al entorno urbano en la ciudad cuidadora: Barrio Santa fe 2030 al 2050

Abstract

This work proposes a partial plan for urban renewal in the historic center of Bogotá, Santa Fe neighborhood, using the theory of the Caring City for urban improvement. The first chapter is investigative, where the problem statement and formulation in the intervention site are developed. The deterioration and neglect in the historic centers of cities and how this undermines the right to the city of the inhabitants of the sector, against this, the project's objectives and hypotheses are proposed. In the second chapter, the methodologically used analysis frameworks are presented, where the theories and concepts that support the project are explained, the applied regulations, and the different investigated references. The third chapter is the project phase, for which the characterization of the urban and architectural conditions, as well as the social, economic, and demographic conditions of the sector, will be used as an investigative methodology for the delimitation, diagnosis, and intervention criteria of the project. The result is a partial plan of urban renewal that is based on the Caring City model and focuses on the restructuring of land use, improving connectivity and the relationship with the city, and strengthening public space in the Santa Fe neighborhood. It is proposed for the period 2030-2050 and aims to revitalize the historic center of Bogotá and improve the urban quality of the sector.
