Villa ahumada, resignifación del patrimonio cultural arquitectónico rehabilitación del vestigio de una planta artesanal para la refinación de sal en el municipio de Zipaquirá

Abstract

The following research is developed through the resignification of the architectural cultural heritage, through the rehabilitation of an old artisanal salt refining factory located on Carrera 10 # 197, in the municipality of Zipaquirá Cundinamarca. Through resolution 3629 (2015), of the Ministry of Culture, where it is declared a National Monument (B.I.C). Through this resolution, its great importance throughout history is recognized and some important interventions carried out near the site of the property are identified, which has allowed us to see even more the abandonment that the property currently has, turning it into an urban void. The importance of recovering this property has increased, because it is part of one of the three ovens that are still standing in the municipality, but unfortunately due to its lack of maintenance has led it to be an uninhabited, unused place, rapidly increasing its deterioration, to the point of collapse of its load-bearing elements such as: walls, beams, columns and roof. This causes its construction elements to be left outdoors, increasing their deterioration more and more, carrying with it a history and a culture that will be lost if nothing is done. According to the above, it is intended to develop a project for this property that restores its historical value and revitalizes the place where it is located, as well as the memory of the municipality of Zipaquirá and the region. The recovery of memory is proposed through a new use that is linked to its environment, offering a symbolic piece that is related to the current dynamics and future development proposals of the partial plan of the municipality. In this way, returning the lost identity to the resident and non-resident population of the vestige that brings with it the traditions, beliefs and cultural aspects that said monument represents in past times and that is proposed with the current project, returning said value as a symbol of appropriation.
