Abstract
The infrastructure, the waste handling and management model in Bogotá is unsustainable,
despite the fact that it had an area designated for this work in the town of Kennedy, currently we
find that the La Alquería recycling center, the first in the city of Bogotá, closed indefinitely, with
this we seek to recognize and study the main factors why the decline of this infrastructure has
occurred in the town of Kennedy. Which is informality, being 79% according to the Uaesp.
Through a project combining Urban Architectural we seek to strengthen the recycling vocation
of this town, thereby formalizing the recycling work and raising awareness among people
through a learning center, creating a circular economy and in the future this will be a model for
all the towns of Bogotá and the cities of Colombia.
