Arq. Travelling Cinema Estudio comparativo de la forma y la función arquitectónica del teatro Mogador (auditorio mayor CUN), teatro México, teatro Olympia y teatro san Jorge entre los años 1912-2023

Abstract

The present investigative work Arq.travelling aims to develop an analysis projected in theaters such as: Mogador, México, Olympia and San Jorge theater, which have transmuted and transformed over time due to their form and function. Through the collection of historical, regulatory, architectural, patrimonial and socio-cultural data, before it is developed in three variables based on the transmutation of the architectural form, the function of the architectural space and the cinema and life. From this, the state of the theaters in three spatial positions is analyzed and diagnosed. In the first place, its origin, as a second measure its fall is witnessed and finally today (2023) in relation to Post-covid. Based on this, a matrix is designed in order to organize, synthesize and determine the processes and elements that have positively or negatively affected the four selected properties, to understand the reason for the state of their form and function. To conclude, it is intended to develop a series of architectural guidelines, focused on the conservation, restoration and relationship of the object with the urban environment. Thus giving some indicators to take into account when intervening, analyzing or conserving an architectural project, from an asset of cultural interest to a building which is interested in preserving and still does not have a regulatory accreditation of being an asset of architectural social interest
