Análisis de la metamorfosis urbana del territorio muisca de suba (AMUT)

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to highlight the urban memory, urban growth, ethnic identity of the Muisca indigenous people located in Suba, studying their settlements and guiding them through the history of urban growth and development. Various population, social, economic, and cultural factors that led to indigenous communities being affected and displaced to the reserves where they are today will be identified. The goal is to analyze the urban metamorphosis of the Suba territory from pre-Columbian times to the present, identifying the impact on the Muisca community in aspects such as the transformation of territorial thinking, settlements, and cultural practices. Likewise, through an article, we will travel through history, identifying main characteristics not only through architecture but also having a vision of planning, development, design, areas, uses, etc. As a result of this, we aim to study and analyze the significant impact on the activities that the Muisca population developed there, using theories developed in books, research, theses, among others and taking basic concepts from them for the construction of this document that accounts for the urban memory of Suba. Additionally, to analyze the settlements at different times in history and the role of the Muisca community in the transformation and urban planning of their territory, we consider that the confederation was composed of different villages and tribes, each with its own chief and now imposed by neighborhoods and UPZ.
