Abstract

Within the Pijao indigenous community we find the Amoyá indigenous council, which is located in the canyon of the beautiful 59 km from the municipality of Chaparral Tolima, where it has been declared for many years as a red zone due to the presence of paramilitaries and guerrillas, this being its biggest problem for almost 60 years, not without leaving behind the low quality of life of its inhabitants. From the difficult access due to lack of a good road structure, where daily people put their lives at risk, as well as the fact that their homes do not have earthquake-resistant parameters, which before a natural fact could be totally in ruins. As was the unfortunate accident that occurred in December 2019 when the monkey broke overflowed, devastating much of the village of La Virginia. As a result of the above, the approach to be proposed in the productive housing model is to improve both the living conditions and the economy of the community through an architectural design that meets current needs and can reflect and highlight their culture and traditions in every detail, preserving their materials and taking into account the 5 pillars that govern this community, in order to rescue what has been lost because of the violence that this community has gone through.
