Resumen
La ciudad de Sincelejo enfrenta un grave problema en cuanto al desarrollo urbanístico en el que se ha visto atrasada por cuenta de falta de planeación y responsabilidad hacia esta misma, estos inconvenientes han derivado en otros problemas identificados en inseguridad, deterioro urbano, incompatibilidad en los usos de suelos y falta de identidad hacia el territorio, entre otros.
Entre las condiciones que la ciudad debe enfrentar para prepararse hacia el futuro, el cambio climático y la sostenibilidad urbana, se deben tomar medidas de planeación y diseño que ayuden a desarrollar correctamente los retos venideros, dentro de estos retos se deben buscar soluciones sociales, económicas, ambientales y funcionales, integrando el urbanismo con los valores culturales, aportando al sentido de pertenencia del habitante y preparando la ciudad para hacerla más competitiva.
Abstract
The city of Sincelejo faces a serious problem in terms of urban development in which it has been
delayed due to lack of planning and responsibility towards it, these inconveniences have led to
other problems identified in insecurity, urban deterioration, incompatibility in uses of soils and
lack of identity towards the territory, among others.
Among the conditions that the city must face to prepare for the future, climate change and urban
sustainability, planning and design measures must be taken that help to correctly develop the
upcoming challenges, within these challenges social, economic solutions must be sought,
environmental and functional, integrating urban planning with cultural values, contributing to the
inhabitant's sense of belonging and preparing the city to make it more competitive
