El hábitat popular en asentamientos informales barrio Bahía Solano, Quibdó

Abstract

This degree project reflects the current state of the Avenida Bahía Solano neighborhood community, located in the municipality of Quibdó, where the different ways of occupying space were identified and how, with the passing of time, inhabiting has been affected. Due to the armed conflicts that have been generated in the municipality, it has an increase in poverty indicators that make its inhabitants do not have the capabilities to meet their basic needs. At present there are housing problems in informal settlements, and the scarcity of good coverage of public services. The consolidation of this neighborhood has not been possible, since the municipality has not provided the tools that allow the planning and ordering of the neighborhood, which shows the fragility at an urban, economic and social level. It is made up of demobilized people, Afro-descendants and indigenous people. The neighborhood Av. Bahía Solano is an informal settlement, which is located in front of the Quibdó boardwalk, where despite the conditions of marginalization and poverty, it allows us to see an opportunity to guide this project, which aims to characterize the different ways of living, recognizing the values and attributes of the community, in aspects that have to do with the occupation of the territory. In accordance with the above, it should be clarified that this research shows the transformation that occurs in it, and how the logic of the inhabitant composes the axis of the relationship between the habitat and their ways of conceiving space through social practices, traditions and customs.
