Hábitat preventivo. Prototipo de vivienda social, productiva y sostenible en el municipio de Tota, Boyacá

Abstract

Boyacá is characterized by being a very popular department in terms of the country's ancient history, which is manifested in most of the most popular towns in Boyacá with its representative heritage architecture and the culture that it reflects in the inhabitants. The interest of this project focuses on the municipality of Tota, specifically in the Tota village. In relation to the economy of the place, their income is normally reflected in agriculture, livestock, fish farming and tourism. In this municipality, the cultivation of potatoes, peas, broad beans, onions and other foods that are harvested on these lands is frequent. One of the reasons why this place was chosen is because according to the census by the National Administrative Department of Statistics [DANE] (2018), Tota presents a 48.4% qualitative deficit in housing. The choice of this place refers to the needs of the peasants since it has a high rate of poverty due to lack of employment and opportunities, affecting the difficult access to housing. The project aims to improve the quality of life of the peasants. The place presents many damages in the constructions of these rural houses. These buildings are not only having problems because they were built in the past and are still being inhabited today, but houses without any architectural and structural character are currently being built, since the main factor in this matter is the lack of economic resources. It is intended to design a housing prototype that solves the demands of these inhabitants, providing habitability, productivity, security and adaptability in space.
