Abstract
Given the need for the city of Bogota to have an immediate, dignified risk model, with adequate
infrastructure and services, we propose a refugee center for the population that may be affected by
natural disasters, with the implementation of a new prototype of emergency architecture, The project
proposes a refugee center for the population that could be affected by natural disasters, with the
implementation of a new prototype of emergency architecture, in the highest risk areas of Bogota, taking
into account that the focal points of these events are located in the southeast (Ciudad Bolívar, Rafael
Uribe and San Cristobal) which have high rates of landslides, floods and high probability of building losses
in the event of an earthquake.
The ephemeral prototype will have a sustainable modular system which adapts to the spaces by
means of a folding system responding to a specific need, allowing its assembly and disassembly to be
efficient, and with the purpose of recovering the spaces used to their initial functionality.
