El agua, como derecho fundamental en Colombia

Abstract

This research analyzes why in Colombia, access to drinking water is still not typified as a fundamental and individual right, being its access guaranteed by the State, although the law is not clear in this way, it is evident that, from the code, water is a public resource and must be protected by the nation, which the inadequate use of it as a limited natural resource is punished. It works as a tool of the legislative and law projects that did not obtain the 8 debates so that the water would be protected and there would be access to all the Colombian population, that is why, for personal reasons, private companies limit this resource with the purpose of obtaining money and control of it.
