Abstract

The spaces that provide integration to a community, such as a facility, have a great impact and can contribute to the settlement of various groups of people because "it is important to note that the community provides support, security, integration, identity and sense of social belonging, it is a human environment where virtue has a social attribute and where, therefore, there is a shared moral conscience" (Sanchez & Del Pino, 2008, parr.3). Therefore this project is focused on the approach of an architectural equipment of cultural character in the municipality of Acevedo Huila which links from its programs to the community in general and to some specific groups of the population in order to provide cultural appropriation and space, This is determined after the respective analysis of one of the peripheral sectors of the municipality, This is determined after the respective analysis of one of the peripheral sectors of the municipality, which reflects a planning problem that in turn generates social differences due to the marginalization of the La Esmeralda sector, which is a space invaded by various groups of people who have settled on this property, which after its future legalization does not have the necessary infrastructure to have a direct link with the main urban area. Seen in this way, the project seeks an articulation with the urban area and at the same time it seeks to function and respond within its context through the cultural representation of the municipality and the department, thus generating new dynamics for integration and citizen participation.
