Abstract

The housing quality deficit, uncontrolled growth and the lack of plans to solve both environmental and social problems are and have been one of the main social problems in the Lebanese Republic neighborhood, leaving the community without recognized rights, and what it is worse, living in conditions of extreme poverty, where their work activities do not generate sufficient economic income to survive. As a result of what has been described above, the Lebanese population has chosen to offer themselves the opportunity to live in comfort, building their homes with materials they have, regardless of whether these components may be polluting or harmful to the environment, people's health. The inhabitants, leaving aside the importance of whether or not they are technically adequate to comply with the technical-constructive specifications stipulated in the Cartagena Regulations. Proposing homes in alternative construction systems of the sector to work will give a different vision to the buildings in the neighborhood, reducing expenses, simplifying delivery time, and above all, it will help the recycling of materials, advantageous for the location of the project, consolidating sectors of communities residential areas with services for the community, in addition an urban treatment will be developed for the Ciénaga de la Virgen, which is in a serious environmental state, in the same way new horizons will be opened towards constructive models that dialogue with the human, function and conservation of the environment.
