dc.descriptionDada la importancia del movimiento filosófico conocido como Empirismo lógico dentro de lahistoria pasada y presente de la filosofía de la ciencia, nada más necesario que tener claridadde sus fundamentos. Con este propósito, el artículo hace una presentación sistemática de lastesis centrales del Empirismo lógico, a partir de sus documentos programáticos. Las tesisque se exponen son: 1) la tesis propiamente empirista, el conocimiento sobre la naturalezaes sintético; 2) el conocimiento de la lógica y las matemáticas es analítico; 3) el principioverificacionista del significado como criterio de demarcación entre ciencia y metafísica;4) el análisis lógico del lenguaje como método filosófico; 5) la unificación de las cienciasempíricas; y 6) la estructura de las teorías científicas. es-ES
dc.descriptionGiven the importance of the philosophical movement known as Logical Empiricism, in the past and present history of science philosophy, nothing more necessary than be clear about its foundations. With this purpose, this article makes a systematic presentation of the central theses of the Logical Empiricism, based in its programmatic documents. The theses put forward are as follows: 1) The thesis that is own of empiricism, the knowledge about nature is synthetic; 2) The knowledge of logical and mathematics is analytic; 3) The principle of verification of meaning as demarcation criterion between science and metaphysic; 4) The logical analysis of language as philosophical method; 5) The unification of empirical sciences; and 6) The structure of scientific theories.en-US
