dc.descriptionEste trabajo tiene por objeto recoger la experiencia en la formación en Diseño de Ingeniería en el programa de Ingeniería Electrónica de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad del Quindío, como insumo para la implementación de la Iniciativa: Concebir, diseñar, implementar y operar (CDIO). En primer lugar, haremos una presentación de lo que constituye esta propuesta. En segundo lugar, mostraremos tanto que la formación en Diseño de Ingeniería ha venido a ser en el tiempo un área completamente constituida, así como, la estructura curricular de esta área. Seguidamente, haremos referencia, en términos generales, a los fundamentos epistemológicos asumidos como guía para la acción técnica. Para ocuparnos, finalmente, de exponer los fundamentos metodológicos del área, tanto a nivel de la metodología de diseño como de la didáctica adoptadas. es-ES
dc.description This work is aimed to collect the training experience in Engineering Design from the Electronic Engineering Program, Engineering Faculty, Universidad del Quindío, as an input for the implementation of the CDIO Initiative (conceive, design, implement, operate). Firstly, we will make a presentation of the proposal. Secondly, we will demonstrate that Engineering Design training has been evolving throughout time as a completely well constituted area as well as its curricular structure. Next, we will make reference to the epistemological foundations assumed as technical guidelines in general terms. Finally we will address the issue of the methodological grounds of the area both in terms of the design methodology and the teaching methodology recently adopted.  en-US
