Abstract

In the department of Cundinamarca, province of Tequendama, exactly in the municipality of Viotá, which is recognized for its coffee-producing economic activity responsible for supplying the villages and neighboring municipalities, for the great approach of its water sources, the extension in its main ecological structure and variety of landscapes and climates. The precarious state of many of the places with a historical, tourist and environmental character that are part of the municipal economy can be evidenced, understanding the dynamics of the ecological structure from the diagnosis and the fabric of the existing disintegration in said structure, places of rural importance that are part of the landscape and the tourist image of the municipality of Viotá, the design of an ecological environmental axis is proposed, which allows the articulation of the main ecological structure with the revitalization of said places, contributing to the improvement of water sources that supply to the municipality, allow economic income through the generation of tourism, and activation of the landscape through natural landmarks.
