Plan parcial los olivos: integración entre los elementos naturales y las dinámicas sociales como estrategia de inclusión social

Abstract

The present project is framed in Bogotá in the town of Chapinero where the Los Olivos neighborhood is located, in which the contrast between two populations is clearly observed, since it allows to see the way in which the population of a larger stratum surrounds and oppresses a minor stratum with a physical and social deterioration, because it makes this neighborhood marginalize over time and affect its growth. Additionally, it is a sector that has undergone an evolution over time, as the city grew the neighborhood also grew but in an informal way, in fact, it was legalized and consolidated in the year of 1996. However, due to the excessive development and uncontrolled that leads the city, the neighborhood has had to face many problems that have impacted both the community and the spatial response of the territory where it is located. The main problem is the segregation that is framed by the buildings adjoining the neighborhood, where as a larger stratum generates social and spatial pressure, from this particularity the land has been focused as an exclusive market only high stratum, This generates problems in different areas, from buildings of a colossal height in relation to the neighborhood to abandonment to the main ecological structure, since the Los Olivos stream passes through the neighborhood where many homes are located in the round of said ravine and can be seen at risk of land removal. These new buildings generate physical barriers that not only affect the interaction of the community but also the development of the neighborhood since it does not present a clear connection with the city from the area of ​​mobility, because the vehicular mesh of this piece of city has an infrastructure deficient and does not cover the main needs of the neighborhood. On the other hand, since they do not have an integration with the context and do not possess a social cohesion with the neighboring populations of the neighborhood, they do not have access to a commercial dynamic or work generation for this community. This project seeks to provide a new face to the sector and the neighborhood through a partial plan where this neighborhood generates new dynamics to combat the social segregation that is generated by new constructions, giving a new importance to the main ecological structure, given that provides new opportunities for the Los Olivos neighborhood, generates a fabric that connects with the city and thus link economic, physical and social aspects that allow a cohesion and make a better habitat in this sector of the city.
