Abstract

This project-based research proposes to develop the necessary elements for the design of an agro-industrial research center in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán. The analysis methodology of the site to intervene is used, which is based on the postulates of urban-regional analysis that includes macro, meso and micro analysis through which the relationships that exist between the jurisdictions covered by the proposed project are evidenced (departmental level, municipal level and local level) and, furthermore, it allows characterizing these levels to understand the problems that the sites that the project may impact have. With this, the necessary elements that the center requires for its design are evidenced whose objective is to contribute to the growth of a sector of the population that can benefit from training in agro-industrial techniques and thus be better prepared to participate in the labor market offered by companies of the sector in the region and not reduce their job opportunities only to those offered by the oil industry.
