Estrategias para la conservación de la biodiversidad: Caso de estudio centro de investigación y capacitación agropecuaria humedal Tibanica.

Abstract

Wetlands and streams are considered in the main ecological structure as protection zones sheltered by environmental management plans that seek to optimize and minimize the environmental impact in all parts of the wetland on the natural environment and on the inhabitants of the sector. The objective of this research is to design an ecological corridor that restores the Tibanica wetland ring based on sustainability strategies in order to promote a city model that responds to the articulation of urban systems with natural systems to promote social integration and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the sector. The sustainability strategies and indicators try to solve the urban-environmental deterioration in the neighborhoods surrounding the wetland, with respect to the analysis of the territory at different scales (mass, meso and micro) in order to generate a diagnosis for each urban structure, in a way that different strategies were proposed in order to be analyzed from a mixed quantitative and qualitative method, since this intervention includes components of both instruments. The analyzes carried out reflected some deficits in housing where an increase of almost 80% was identified, with respect to the road network it was determined that more than 50% of the total road network of the town is in poor condition, this is cycle routes and trails for the community are added. Finally, as a solution, it was increased 5 km in road network, 3.5 km in cycle routes,650 households and 6.5 km in trails.
