Abstract

The purpose of this degree project was to research and propose a design that encompasses and provides solutions to the main problems that arise in rural areas, such as the invasion of agricultural production in soils where it is not allowed to carry out This type of activities, such as the water area of the Ubate River, on the other hand, it was evident that the elimination of these crops are not beneficial for the economic and food development of the municipality, another important point to address is the absence of public space. effective in both urban and rural areas. The objective that was set to mitigate these problems was to generate a design that manages to conserve agricultural production as the main source, design areas that increase public space, strengthen the sociocultural scope of the municipality and that through pedestrian infrastructure generate connections improving accessibility and the habitability of the municipality of Ubate. A thorough investigation was carried out which helped us determine the viability of our proposal, analyzing the conditions of the land, its use, the plant's structure and an important part of the economy and tourism of the municipality. Taking into account the above, a design was proposed that has characteristics that can be identified, the purpose of this design is to guarantee agricultural production and its conservation, as well as the development of different activities that are divided into areas that are strategically located for a good use of the same with a road and pedestrian infrastructure that connects the urban with the rural by the different areas which are the following: recreational sports, children, agricultural, cultural and environmental areas for the reforestation and rehabilitation of the water round of the Ubate River.
