Caminando la historia: estudio de paisaje en los caminos reales de Facatativá, Zipacón, Bojacá y Anolaima

Abstract

This research project presents the results of employing the landscape study as a methodological instrument of valuation through the definition of landscape units to understand the territory that surrounds the royal roads, the stretches that will be taken up in this thesis are located in the municipalities of Facatativa, Zipacon, Bojaca and Anolaima on the west of Bogotá. The need from which this research proceeds is the landscape potential and the cultural heritage diversity that the west savannah has. The landscape study allows to value the singular resources that can be found in the area adjacent to the roads to attain the identification of the territory role and the determination of planning and protection policies in order to preserve the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the region. The main objective was to establish a complete proposal, strengthening the qualities found in each landscape unit formulating specific strategies with the purpose of ensuring the preservation and connectivity of the surroundings by means of definitive proposals of intervention focus on two types of population: floating and rural native from the place.
