However, the utilization of emerging technologies are not shown in the integral formation in the students, neither inside a process for learn a second language. Besides that, there are tools that make easy the process of vocabulary learning and grammatical structures inside the English course, this one is known by teachers and students for been virtual instruments. Therefore, this investigation has an objective of supply knowledge about CALL tools, with the purpose of improve the compression in students of fifth grade according to the topics about continues present/simple past and stablish the utility of these tools to make the investigation. The investigation has a qualitative approach, by interpretative and empiric aspects that describe problematic situations to interpret individual’s reality. Likewise, action research methodology is reflexive, social because begin since the individual, then group cooperation and follows community serving. Initial technic was a diagnostic test about CALL tools as a Drive Presentations and Storybird been evaluated by the teacher to observe students’ progress. Finally develops a final test to know the influence of CALL tools in English learning. For the data review, makes a chart of each instrument, them realize the codification by colors obtains fourteen categories for the analysis, built tables and graphics of the category interpretation.     Abstract

    El incremento de la tecnología tiene incidencia en campos que no solo vinculan el ocio o la vida social, la internet se ha hecho presente en cada ámbito de la vida de niños y adultos. Sin embargo, el aprovechamiento de las tecnologías emergentes no se evidencia en la formación integral de los estudiantes, ni tampoco en su proceso para aprender una segunda lengua. Adicional a ello, existen herramientas que facilitan el proceso de aprendizaje de vocabulario y estructuras gramaticales dentro de la asignatura del inglés que son poco conocidas por docentes y estudiantes al ser instrumentos virtuales. Por lo tanto, esta investigación tiene como objetivo el proveer conocimiento de las herramientas CALL (Computer Assistance Language Learning) con el fin de mejorar la comprensión en estudiantes de grado quinto frente a los temas de presente-continuo/pasado-simple/vocabulario y establecer la utilidad de dichas herramientas para lograr este fin. Se realiza la investigación en el marco del enfoque cualitativo, por su influyente interpretativo y empírico que describe situaciones problematizadas para interpretar la realidad de los individuos. De igual manera, el método es Investigación-Acción se elige por ser una búsqueda autorreflexiva, social ya que se empieza desde el individuo, se sigue a la cooperación de un grupo y termina sirviendo a la comunidad. La técnica inicial fue una prueba diagnostica sobre herramientas tecnológicas y conocimientos académicos en inglés, en el proceso se utilizan herramientas CALL como Presentaciones Drive y Storybird siendo evaluadas por el docente para observar el avance de cada estudiante. Finalmente se emplea una prueba final para conocer la influencia de las herramientas CALL en el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua. Para la revisión de los datos obtenidos se hacen rejillas de cada instrumento, para así realizar la codificación por colores obteniendo catorce categorías de análisis, se generan tablas y gráficas de interpretación de categorías. Concluyendo así que, por lo evidenciado en los resultados y posterior análisis, se fortalece y adquiere conocimiento sobre temáticas vistas en la asignatura de inglés para grado quinto, por medio de las herramientas CALL propuestas en la investigación
