In that sense, it's not surprising that currently one speaks of 'academic production' as if it was a commodity/merchandise. It's for the latter that research is an activity that hasn't gotten away from a similar distortion. Reason for which, he that does law, plays a protagonistic role in the control of that psuedo-commercialization of the school/academy in a way that responsibly regulates crimes against the rights of the author. On the contrary, the same teachers feel pressured or see themselves as mediocre or copied, and have the goal of not losing the fight for institutional categorization such as in Colciencias.     Abstract

    El modelo gestional y empresarial que han adquirido las universidades, han llevado a desfigurar la función propia de la universidad, cual es formar intelectualmente y poco a poco ha pasado a asumir las mismas funciones de la industria. En ese sentido, no es de extrañar que hoy en día se hable de “producción académica” como si tratara de una mercancía. Es por lo anterior que la investigación es una actividad que no se ha librado de semejante deformación. Motivo por el cual, el que hacer jurídico juega un rol protagónico en el control de esa pseudo-mercantilización de la academia, en la medida en la que regula de forma responsable los delitos contra los derechos de autor, de lo contrario, los mismos profesores se ven presionados o a ser mediocres o a incurrir en copias, a fin de no perder en esta lucha por la categorización instituciones como la ofrecida por Colciencias.
