La regionalización de la educación superior (RES) frente al desarrollo regional: su importancia e impacto

Abstract

The present article approaches and exposes an analytical review in front of the topic of the Regionalization of Higher Education (RES) and its impact in the Regional Development. The above, estimating that a higher education that wants to reach the highest standards, can’t afford - even in the least - that those who are the raw material of the educational system, it is worth saying that people do not enjoy a diversified university institution in the content, crowded in places, close to daily life and inclusive in opportunities. Therefore, the identification of a problem situation goes through the fact that the RES manages to promote and emphasize the formative and transforming value of the local peripheries As a result of that approach, it is that the research shown here has as its fundamental objective to analyze the phenomenon of RES versus the regional development variable. For this, it begins with an academic sample of authors, texts and articles that constitute the reference nuclei of the theoretical sustenance, follows with a conceptual delimitation on what is the RES, then sweeps through the Latin American and Colombian context regarding nature and the role of the regional university, later presents a reflexive approach on Regional Development and concludes with four thematic positions that synthesize the exposed In order to achieve such ends, the research carried out is organized around a qualitative methodological scheme and privileging that it is documentary, under the understanding that the information was subjected to search criteria, selection, revision, debugging and analysis
