Abstract

Icfes. This work consists of an investigation into the aspects that led to the restructuring of the state examination of secondary education denominated Icfes Saber 11 ° in 2014. From this I carried out a content study of official documents of the MEN and ICFES to search for the Official arguments that grounded this restructuring and the elimination of the subject of philosophy in this state test. In this way, the documents are the reference that allowed me to observe antecedents, socioeconomic and political context in its argumentative content that underpin the theoretical reflexive and critical construction. And, indeed, the solution to the problem question centered on the critical reading component that is constituted by the merging of two subjects; Language and philosophy Icfes. 2014
