¿Cuáles son las causas de abandono familiar de los adultos mayores que se encuentran recluidos en el Centro San Pedro Claver en la ciudad de Bogotá D.C.?

Abstract

The target of the present titled investigation: “which are the causes of familiar abandonment of the biggest adults who are imprisoned in the Center Saint Peter Claver in the City of Bogota, D.C” it is directed to glimpse the causes that they bear to its abandonment, and simultaneously to know its experiences opposite to the indifference of its relatives, which was possible to manage by means of visits and interviews to depth since it was necessary to obtain individual answers for and it needed realized to the Center earlier mentioned. The above mentioned study is of qualitative, descriptive type, which allowed to have a mink of the situation studied in the population of major adults. One of the most common reasons of abandonment of the biggest adult on the part of its familiar nucleus happens when this one has fulfilled with its useful labor life, since it turns into a slightly productive person economically, moment in which there breaks the interaction, the communication and the affection, condemning it to be seeing like a load for the family, reality through that thousands of major adults live in our country. In more than half of the interviews it was possible to perceive that the biggest adult realizes the stage that it is crossing, likewise of that he is an ill-treatment victim on the part of its relatives, but these do not feel any type of resentment towards them, since they tell that for economic motives its relatives act thus, also its big love is demonstrated to God to whom they stick and ask every day for help to go forward. In the final conclusions there is highlighted the importance of the future achievement of investigations that include like population the biggest adults, due to the absence of campaign to raise public awareness and study related to this topic.
