Facatativá located in the West Savannah 42 kilometers from Bogota, is a municipality that has a great archaeological and natural heritage as is the Archaeological Park Las Piedras del Tunjo, declared a reserve of archaeological and historical protection since 1946. At the moment it faces a connection problem due to factors of historical growth after the arrival of the Spaniards. These factors show the lack of articulation that has always existed between the municipality and the Archaeological Park since the historical growth occurred from the main square opposite the park giving the back completely, about this time there were still vacant lots adjacent to the Park but after the year 2002 with the population growth came the creation of neighborhoods with spontaneous housing that were located on the edges of the park. Facatativá is also a municipality that lacks public space and the park is one of the main and only natural factors is a proposal for articulation and connection between the municipality and this great historical event, giving rise to all of the 5th Street as a union scene, Being one of the main foci of pedestrian circulation and the most adequate linear connection, where it is possible to show a large percentage of residential and commercial use with the appearance of institutional facts relevant to the municipality and achieving the articulation and connection between the Hispanic foundation Foundation of Facatativá) and the pre Hispanic Foundation (Archaeological Park the stones of tunjo) highlighting on this axis of public space the Muisca culture to achieve the recognition of Facatativá as an indigenous people and the significant value that the park has as historical and cultural potential.spa
