Autopercepción docente en el Colegio Nuevo Compartir San Nicolás factor de motivación para estudios postgraduales

Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the incidence of the teaching self-perception as motivating factor for the development of postgraduate studies of teachers in a public school in the municipality of Soacha (Colegio Nuevo Compartir San Nicolás), from this way we want to show which they have been the main situations that teachers face to perform higher education, their opportunities and successes at the same time the difficulties they present. To start we have taken into account several investigations that gave some antecedent in connection with the professional performance and the workforce satisfaction which they allowed us to pose several questions that emerged from the qualitative analysis method and then these were formulated in a data collection instrument, for this reason we designed a survey aimed on teachers at this school taking as a reference the 1278 and 2277 decrees that govern to the district teachers so that can observe if these have an influence or establish some relationship with the motivation for teaching qualification allowing them to have greater accessibility to the realization of postgraduate studies. The gathered information was analyzed thus allowing to identify in the research results that both the motivation and the perception of the pedagogical work of the teacher in Nuevo Compartir San Nicolás School are important factors to continue studying. In conclusion it is seen a perception of professionalism of their work as teachers but for economic reasons they cannot access to postgraduate studies
