We sought, through a survey, to identify what are the different skills and knowledge that teachers of the Faculty of Education of the UGC have in web 2.0 tools and information technologies in order to know their practices and teaching practice, assuming that ICTs facilitate information sharing, interacting and collaborating with each other, in which both teachers faculty and students are not limited to passively observe the contents if not to implement them easily do more interactive classes leveraging the collective intelligence.     Abstract

    Este artículo tiene como fin realizar un diagnóstico de los conocimientos en herramientas web 2.0 y tecnologías de la información que tienen los docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la UGC de cara a las Perspectivas tecnológicas en Iberoamérica 2012-2017. Se buscó, por medio de una encuesta, identificar cuáles son las diferentes habilidades y conocimientos que los docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la UGC tienen en cuánto a herramientas web 2.0 y Tecnologías de la Información con el fin de diagnosticar sus prácticas y el ejercicio docente, asumiendo que las TIC facilitan compartir la información e interactuar y colaborar entre sí, donde tanto los docentes de la Facultad como sus estudiantes no se limiten a observar pasivamente los contenidos si no que los apliquen con facilidad y sus clases sean activas aprovechando la inteligencia colectiva. Para poder realizar los objetivos de esta investigación fue necesario llevar a cabo una investigación descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo. Se realizó una encuesta virtual en la que se evidenció las cualidades que tienen los docentes sobre el uso, manejo y competencias que tienen en herramientas web 2.0, los resultados de la investigación deja en evidencia que una parte de los docentes de esta facultad tienen las competencias en TIC, pero no las usan en su ejercicio docente o que simplemente no las usan por que no conocen sus aplicaciones o sus beneficios y el impacto que estas generan en la educación
