    Abstract

    La presente investigación es una tesis para optar al título de magister en educación, se inscribe en la línea de Pensamiento socio-crítico, apunta a la construcción significativa y solidaria del conocimiento de la Universidad La Gran Colombia. El propósito de la misma busca identificar los significados y percepciones que tienen los estudiantes y docentes de primer y segundo semestre del programa de ingeniería civil de las universidades La Gran Colombia, Católica de Colombia y Piloto de Colombia, localizadas en la localidad de Chapinero en Bogotá. La investigación se desarrolla durante los años 2013, 2014 y 2015. La ausencia de información sobre la percepción y trasfondo de la evaluación, por parte de los actores principales del proceso evaluativo, lleva a formular el presente estudio de enfoque mixto, como aporte a la discusión y mejoramiento académico. Para el desarrollo se plantearon dos categorías de análisis: percepciones y significados sobre la evaluación del conocimiento. Para recaudar la información pertinente se utilizaron dos cuestionarios semiestructurados y dos grupos de discusión, información analizada con el uso del paquete estadístico SPSS 20 y el grupo de discusión por la herramienta ATLAS TI
