Estudio de Valoración Arq. Hernando Vargas Rubiano

Abstract

The Colombian architect Hernando Vargas Rubiano, has made great contributions to the country, both in architecture and engineering. Many of his works have their own characteristics in physical, spatial and constructive terms, which have undergone transformations and alterations in their original design, due to the absence of a declaration as BIC. For this reason, this document proposes the study of valuation of four works of the architect Hernando Vargas Rubiano located in the Bogotá city; With the purpose of rescuing the historic, aesthetic and symbolic values of the buildings, in order to promote their conservation and avoid further deterioration in the future, through the application of a valuation methodology of their own and valid at the District and National levels.
