You can highlight eg drilling rock strata that achieve the desired depths, when the terrain is different soil strata evaluated and established in a previous study of soils. However, one major problem lies in the implications follow a design under different conditions than those initially established, it is possible that the rock strata gradually lose its excellent physical and mechanical properties bringing implications that jeopardize the safety of structures constructed.     Abstract

    En la actualidad se evidencian múltiples tecnologías para la construcción de obras civiles a nivel mundial, implementando desde la etapa de cimentación procesos de punta que no solo brindan productos de calidad, sino que también permiten mejorar y optimizar los procesos de excavación y de construcción de los elementos estructurales. Se puede destacar por ejemplo la perforación de estratos rocosos que permiten alcanzar las profundidades deseadas, cuando el suelo del terreno resulta diferente a los estratos evaluados y establecidos en un previo estudio de suelos. Sin embargo, uno de los principales problemas radica en las implicaciones que tiene seguir un diseño bajo condiciones distintas a las inicialmente establecidas, pues es posible que el estrato rocoso pierda progresivamente sus excelentes propiedades físicas y mecánicas trayendo consigo implicaciones que comprometan la seguridad de las estructuras construidas. Por esta razón, el presente documento expone algunas de las consecuencias que se pueden presentar al fracturar el estrato rocoso que no se tenía contemplado en el estudio de suelos inicial y como se alteran o modifican las propiedades de la roca y la cimentación construida
