From the criminal News, the first one in coming to the place of the fact it is the first respondiente whose basic function is to isolate the scene, that is to say, to separate it from the rest of the environment, later judicial policeman despliega the procedure known as urgent acts, which are to realize interviews, inspection to the place of the facts and inspection to the corpse in order to gather, to sprint, to label and to identify material evidential elements and physical evidence that could be obtained of the place of the fact and that they allow to identify and to give sustenance to the General District attorney's office of the Nation through the district attorney designated to clarify the facts, to express orders of apprehension and to take the persons in charge of committing the crime to oral and public judgment. For the previous thing, the district attorney entrusted to coordinate the investigation will arrange the formulation of a methodological program with help of his investigators which will have to contain the determination of the aims in relation with the nature of the criminal hypothesis; the criteria to evaluate the information; the functional delimiting of the tasks that should go forward in tries of the planned aims; the procedures of control in the development of the labors and the resources of improvement of the results obtained (C.P.P. Abstract

La entomología forense se encarga del estudio de los insectos aplicando procedimientos, teóricos, prácticos y científicos; mediante el estudio de los insectos se puede determinar el lapso transcurrido entre la muerte y el hallazgo del cadáver, se puede establecer si el cadáver ha sido movido o cambiado de lugar, de igual manera en los insectos se pueden encontrar sustancias venenosas, drogas ilícitas, etc. Debido a que los insectos se alimentan del cuerpo en descomposición. El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio de la entomología forense, ¿Qué es?, ¿Cómo se aplica? y ¿Cuál es su utilidad en investigaciones que se adelantan en Colombia ?, y ¿ Cuáles fueron los beneficios que arrojaron la aplicación de esta evidencia en el desarrollo del caso numero 10?, conforme a los actos urgentes adelantados por policía judicial a partir de una llamada a la línea de atención de emergencias 123 por parte de un ciudadano quien da conocimiento de un cuerpo sin vida que se encuentra en el municipio de Barrancabermeja Santander del Sur en la Ciénaga de San Silvestre. A partir de la Noticia criminal, el primero en acudir al lugar del hecho es el primer respondiente cuya función primordial es aislar la escena, es decir, separarla del resto del entorno, posteriormente policía judicial despliega el procedimiento conocido como actos urgentes, los cuales son realizar entrevistas, inspección al lugar de los hechos e inspección al cadáver con el fin de recolectar, embalar, rotular e identificar elementos materiales probatorios y evidencia física que se puedan obtener del lugar del hecho y que permitan identificar y dar sustento a la Fiscalía General de la Nación por intermedio del fiscal designado para esclarecer los hechos, emitir ordenes de captura y llevar a los responsables de cometer el delito a juicio oral y público. Por lo anterior, el fiscal encargado de coordinar la investigación dispondrá la formulación de un programa metodológico con ayuda de sus investigadores el cual deberá contener la determinación de los objetivos en relación con la naturaleza de la hipótesis delictiva; los criterios para evaluar la información; la delimitación funcional de las tareas que se deban adelantar en procura de los objetivos trazados; los procedimientos de control en el desarrollo de las labores y los recursos de mejoramiento de los resultados obtenidos( C.P.P. Art 207 ), además de adelantar las diligencias pertinentes dentro de la investigación que se adelanta
